The Jeffrey Epstein Drive

Note the URL: cnn.com/2022/12/12/politics/nuclear-fusion-energy-us-scientists-climate/. Don't make me bold "scientists" too, although this blog is in its rights, accepting the term "scientody" as it does, for actual work. Per Ace, this release is Granholm-office horse-emission. It is not actual work.

The physics are of interest, as we may read from Financial Times and Gerrit Bruhaug. (Also from Ace, to be fair. Although, he's stuck on magnets and on Sabine Hossenfelder. I'm long past done attending to Dr H; I'm awaiting Daniel Jassby's take.)

We may otherwise read that anything useful to humans won't be available for the usual two more decades. Twitter is serving up Wilson Ricks. Ultimately this is not scientody; this is SCIENCE!.

I am reminded of the gravity/ether speculations of the late 1800s - and the latest months of 2022. Did the syfy-1899 musings divert young researchers at that time from investigating rockets? (... airflight?) So: what is HECKIN-FUSION distracting us from?

Jennifer Granholm's presence here is, to Ace, giving off a certain odour. I'll unpack this: the press-release stands to rile up the HECKIN-HEARTs to oppose energy-sources as exist today. Such include coal of course - but I'm no coalbro myself, so never mind that. More to the point are fission sources - also, perhaps, solar sources beamed from orbit, which we'll also likely not be allowed to do.

CALLED IT 12/13 - In fairness, it was obvious.
